Hi, it’s Lucy.
I like to write, be outdoors and look for beauty.
When I am not doing that, I am probably finishing my degree in environmental sciences, singing or practicing yoga.

I was born on a summer day in a town located somewhere between vast Kazakh steppes and vast grasslands of southern Siberia, thus being used to open spaces and great distances since childhood. My native language is Russian, my favorite one is Spanish, but I prefer to write in English.

Life has been very generous and I’ve seen and felt many things, have talked to many people, have moved from country to country and let go of habitual ways of things many times, changing jobs, changing universities, changing myself.

I have a slight inclination towards poeticism and symbolism, so writing about an event or a person becomes a creative process where raw facts are being embraced by my partly intuitive reflections.

Why “It’s all around us”?

Because life is happening now, all around us, and is unbelievably beautiful. We just need to notice.

This is an attempt to save the memories of wonderful adventures and people I have encountered somewhere else than in my mind.
